Alexia Umansky is saying goodbye to her boyfriend and hello to her fiancé.
After all, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s 28-year-old daughter announced her engagement to Jake Zingerman on social media Nov. 7.
Alexia shared a series of photos to her Instagram Stories documenting the milestone, including her and Jake popping two bottles of champagne while she showed off her ring. Her boyfriend of five years was sure to transform their home into a romantic oasis with candles filling the kitchen and backyard, along with twinkly lights glowing in the background. Their cat Sashimi also dressed for the occasion with an adorable bowtie.
But the next step in their relationship wasn’t a surprise for the Buying Beverly Hills star. In fact, Kyle—who also shares daughtes Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16 with Mauricio, and Farrah, 36, with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie—previously hinted that the milestone would be arriving imminently.
"She's not [getting engaged] yet but I do think that's going to happen,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star explained on her Amazon Live livestream in June. “I really do. They've been dating for four years, almost five years now. They are a very, very, very cute couple and they're great together. And we just love him so much."
And Mauricio echoed his estranged wife’s assessment of their future son-in-law. “We love Jake,” the real estate agent told Entertainment Tonight in a joint family interview in March. “He's awesome."
Meanwhile, Alexia has shared insight into her dynamic with Jake and how their relationship had been a source of comfort amid her parent’s public separation after 27 years back in 2023.
"So much of my life is already out there, and there's nothing I would change about my life," she explained to ET that October, just a few months after her parents’ breakup. "I have no regrets, and my relationship is amazing and whatever happens in the future is what happens. Everything that we're going through is human and, obviously, I hope for the best."
And although Kyle is thrilled her daughter is moving forward in her life, it’s been a challenging transition nonetheless. Alexia and Jake moved in together in February and the reality TV star admitted to The Daily Dish at that time, “it's not the same” at home.
"I honestly had to just shut that part of my brain off," she admitted. "It was like, my child's leaving the house. Because of everything that we've been going through this last year-and-a-half, it was just too much for me to even process."
“[Alexia] is one of those people who's always in a good mood,” she continued, “and I always say she's such a bright light.”
